One choice I have made is to really try to get more healthy. To that end I have rejoined Weight Watchers. Yeah, yeah....I've done it before and I DO know what I need to do but, apparently, I need that accountability of the weekly weigh in and meeting in order for me to do it!! 7+ pounds down so I guess I'm on the right track.

First 2016 post

I will NOT be getting the Blogger of the Year award!! I had meant to write every day in place of that big timesuck aka Facebook but here it is Day 12 of Lent and I am just now writing. Shame, shame. Or is it? Isn't it a good thing to not be attached to a device?

I am trying to be more mindful...in all ways. I like the new mindset of Weight Watchers. They call it Beyond the Scale. Not that the scale isn't important but mental health is also important. What we ingest, whether food,drink, media, etc., has an effect on our well-being.

I think my watch word this season has become CHOICES. Trying to make better choices.

Okay, so in the spirit of being reasonable (I sometimes go a little overboard) I will sign off for now.
